About Me

Black Forest, Colorado
I have been creating beaded art jewelry for over 20 years now and it has been a wonderful adventure. It started with a friend wanting me to make a pair of earrings for her. Everyone at her job wanted a pair too, and the rest is history. My first pieces were hand painted designs on wood. I started adding beads and fell head over heels in love with beadwork.

This is the beginning of my new studio space. It's nice to have a place to work again!

Things will start changing in the next month when The new cabinets are installed and everything has it's place. I will be so organized again!

Almost 4 years since We lost our home and my beautiful studio in a forest fire here in Black Forest, Colorado.
The time has gone by fast but seems like a lifetime ago!
Nothing can prepare you for something like this! When I see devastation from tornados, fire and flooding I now know exactly what they are feeling and my heart truly goes out to them!

Now we are over the hump and moving forward. We rebuilt our home, and have been landscaping for 2 summers now. Lost over 200 Ponderosa pine trees and all our wild flowers. We are dealing with full sun, so that was a huge challenge. It is so exciting to see things sprouting up out of the ground this spring, buds forming on bushes and trees, and birds coming back to hang out again!

My husband has started rebuilding my new studio this month and we are smiling with our hearts again!

Inside my studio where all the fun is had. When Jon built this space for me he knew what I wanted more than I did. I had to move out for nine mounths into our bedroom, and it has been worth every second it took.
